gym

i finally got my ass to the gym today. i made arrangements yesterday, to make sure i'd go. as the personal trainer hasn't called me to book a session as she was supposed to, i made an appointment with one of the gym people. they don't do personal training in my gym, but the instructors there make plans for people. last time i had a plan made for me, it was a bit shit. but i thought i'd try again.
and it was a good move. the guy spent an hour and a half with me and created a very 'different' plan. he showed me how to use everything and checked if i was doing everything right. i didn't do hell of a lot exercise today, maybe half an hour altogether, but i reckon it will take me about 1.5 hours when i do it properly. which will be tomorrow. i'm kinda excited.

yesterday, we bought a new scale. it measures body fat %, water % and other stuff as well. my water percentage last night was 49%. that is shocking. i really have to do something about drinking more water. however, we'll have to take the scale back tomorrow or on monday as the front buttons keep stopping working. they don't work, you give it a bang, they work again. the scale cost £70 so i'd really expect everything works 24/7. it was the last one on the shelf though and i really like it. maybe they'll order us a new one. we'll see.

i'm still eating well, sticking to my points. i can't wait for tomorrow's chow mein though.
