a pack full of goodies
i got my weightwatchers goodies delivered today. the points calculator is so small! i'm glad cause i don't have that much free space in my bag. now i'll be able to check point values while shopping! i still have to fill in the journals, i want to have every single week written down in a journal as well as online. that way, i can get meal ideas when i'm stuck and when cancel the ww online membership after i get to the goal (which i won't do straight away, i'll have to maintain for a few months first), i'll be able to check what i've been eating and stuff.
i also decided to put stickers in my filofax for each day i've stayed within my points allowance. so basically every day since i've started weightwatchers. i couldn't remember when i actually joined so i checked and was so so surprised to find i joined on the 24th of september. it will be three weeks this sunday and it doesn't feel like it at all! it feels like i've been on it for a few days, maybe a week! bizarre!
it's a gym day tomorrow. i'm quite excited because the gym was being refurbished this week and it only opens tomorrow at twelve. there should be some new magic cardio machines that burn calories hundred times quicker and stuff.
other than that, i'm acting like a proper student now. i've been studying palaeontology all day. it's so interesting but there's so much of it. i'm already two weeks behind as i've started late, but i want to do it properly - making notes, reading it a few times, trying to actually remember stuff, you know? not just read and highlight and move on without taking anything in. i also want to write condensed notes on index cards - this should definitely help me with revision before the exams. can you tell i want to do really well?
